BECAUSE CARDBOARD DESERVES BETTER.
Built by a collector, for collectors... born from frustration, refined through passion.
The Problem
Too Many Cards. Not Enough Good Binders.
Like many collectors, I started with the thrill of chasing master sets, only to find myself lost in a shelf of mismatched binders. Most were poorly made, aimed at kids, or completely overlooked the needs of serious collectors. I never knew which set was where, and nothing ever truly felt worthy of the cards inside.
The Solution
I Started Designing My Own.
Out of frustration came creativity. I created my first custom binders to solve my own pain points, designs that reflected the sets they held, built with quality materials, and tailored for display-worthy organization. What started as a personal project quickly became a shared solution when I realized other collectors felt the same way.
The Unlucky Collector
A Brand Shaped by Collectors, Not Corporations.
The Unlucky Collector was born from the belief that collecting is about more than just value, it’s about connection, nostalgia, and pride in what you’ve built. Whether you’re storing your first base set or finishing your 30th master set, you deserve tools made for the job.
Introducing Unlucky Binders
Premium Binders, Reimagined.
I’ve taken everything I’ve learned from making custom designs, and used it to build my own binder brand from the ground up.
Unlucky Binders are made for collectors who care about presentation, protection, and purpose.
- A wide range of core color options with regular restocks, so you can complete your shelf over time.
- A reinforced, rigid build for better durability and protection
- A clean, logo-free front, because the binder should showcase your collection, not mine
- Branding on the zipper and back only, keeping the focus on what matters most: your cards
- Thoughtful spacing between spine and pockets, designed to reduce pressure and prevent card bending over time
Our Mission
To Elevate the Collecting Experience.
From custom designs to premium builds, every binder is made with intention. Because binders shouldn’t be an afterthought, they should be part of the collection experience.
